The Clearwater-Pipestone Chain of Lakes
The Clearwater-Pipestone chain is long, narrow, and sprinkled with islands (about 75 miles from end to end), so inclement weather does not necessarily keep the fishermen from their favourite pastime. Unlike some of the larger lakes, both shores are always visible. Reefs are few and marked. No navigational charts are needed on these waters.
Several short walk-in portage lakes can add to your fishing adventure. Boats can be arranged with advanced notice.
Clearwater (Burditt) Lake
Our home lake is 77' at the deepest. Excellent bass, northern, perch, and walleye. Muskie hunters should head for the north end of the lake.
Smallmouth that will give you the fight of a lifetime! Pound for pound, the toughest fish that you will ever have to catch!
Pipestone Lake A short ride over a mechanical portage and you are on one of the areas deepest lakes. Up to 275' deep. Great for trout, muskie, bass, walleye and northerns. Many local people say that Pipestone hold's the world record Muskie.
Weld, Slender, Schistose and Stonedam Lakes

Manomin, Despair, Footprint, Jackfish and West Jackfish Lakes
Shallower lakes, darker water, more weed growth. More plentiful eating-size walleye, trophy bass and northerns.
Our Boats, Services, and Equipment
Our docks and equipment are first class and well maintained - 17 ft. Misty River boats, each with a 30 hp Yamaha 4 stroke motor & depth finder. Each boat is fully equipped with swivel seats, net, minnow bucket, and safety cushions. We give you a map of the entire lake system. Electrical outlets can be found at the dock for your convenience. We keep a super-clean fish house with ice (blocks and cubes), cleaning, wrapping and freezing facilities - gratis to our guests. Licences are available at our office and local bait shops are within 2 minutes of our lodge.
